Hadron 2021 conference
Information
From the 26th July 2021 to the 30th July 2022 I attended the Hadron 2021 international conference. The conference took place in the same days of the Lattice 2021 conference
The conference took place remotely due to the global emergency causeb by the COVID pandemic.
In my talk I talked about the lattice calculation of the mass splittings of the nucleons (i.e. the the mass difference between neutron and proton) and the ones of the \(\Delta(1232)\) resonances. I showed how it is possible to find this mass splitting by using a purely hadronic renormalization scheme and perturbation theory at 1st order in \(\alpha_\text{em}\) and \(\frac{(m_d-m_u)}{\Lambda_\text{QCD}}\) with the RM123 method. Furthermore, I showed how one can use leading order expensions to relate the \(\Delta\)s mass splittings among each other.
