Talk at the 38th International Symposium on Lattice Field Theory
Information
From the 26th July 2021 to the 30th July 2022 I attended the Lattice 2021 international conference, at MIT. The conference took place remotely due to the global emergency causeb by the COVID pandemic.
In my talk I talked about the part of my PhD thesis project consisting in the determination of the mass difference between neutron and proton with lattice calculations. I showed how it is possible to find this mass splitting by using a purely hadronic renormalization scheme and perturbation theory at 1st order in \(\alpha_\text{em}\) and \(\frac{(m_d-m_u)}{\Lambda_\text{QCD}}\) with the RM123 method.
